Amritsar city is situated in North West India. It is amazing city of the country and it is an important place of Sikhism culture. Golden Temple: The chief Amritsar attraction is known as royal Golden Temple. It was built in 1604 and is Sikhism’ holiest temple. After Agra’s gripping Taj Mahal, the Golden Temple is second most tourists place in India. Jallianwala Bagh: It is famous place in the India country where British military was started firing on a weaponless gathering people, which continued 10 minutes and during it 1600 people were killed in 1919. Today visitors come for seeing bullet holes on walls. Jallianwala Bagh, site of a grand slaughter, has been conserved with a memorial commemorating the awful incident.

Wagah Border: Situated in the country’s western part, this is a certified border line between Pakistan and India. Everyday flag hoisting is done at sunrise along with varied national programs. Close by Wagah border’s daily flag service offers visitors and soothing locals an amazing display of nationalist ceremony.

Mandir Mata Lal Devi: This temple is located nearby Railway Station of Amritsar and far only 2-3 kilometer from city. This temple really satisfies the thirst of pilgrim visitors as it gives you chance to see all famous pilgrimage at one place. You can enjoy the caves full of water, walkways and cave temple.

Ram Bagh Museum: It was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh and it is one of the best museum that gives the brief Punjab’s history during his time.

Best time to visit: All above attractions open every time so you can visit to Amritsar at any time throughout year. But October through March is best months for visiting this city because at this time weather is best. 

Distance from airport: Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport is far 11 km from northwest of Amritsar.
